About Kirk Remodel and Design
Kirk Remodel and Design is a family-owned design and build firm started by Kirk Jolley over 32 years ago in the Fremont neighborhood, where he still resides. Kirk is a hands-on contractor who loves to work directly with his clients, and has the help of his son for fine carpentry, his daughter — a university-trained expert in kitchen and bath design — and his nephew for framing and handyman work.
With the help of his team, Kirk is able to guide you through the home or commercial remodeling process from start to finish. You can rest assured that your remodel is in the hands of a team of licensed and bonded professionals. Kirk's crew also includes subcontractors who are experts in the fields of plumbing, electrical, tile and stone installation, and drywall.

Kirk C. Jolley
Kirk is a hands-on contractor with a deep love of creating beautiful and original spaces for satisfied, happy homeowners. He makes it his business to assist clients in creating a vision of what their home could be, and to help them bring that vision into form. With a natural sense of aesthetically pleasing beauty, harmony and style, coupled with down-to-earth, hands-on, experienced know-how, he gets the job done with finesse.
He is an extremely hard worker, with excellent skills in management, organization, and seeing to every fine detail. His extensive knowledge of Northwest homes throughout the various periods of modern history has been cultivated through his 32 years of experience as a contractor.
Kirk's formal training includes study of design at Cornish College of the Arts, study of art at the University of Washington, and study of construction management, real estate, appraisal, and commercial investing at North Seattle Community College.
He also enjoys traveling with his wife when time permits, watching sports, and being a supportive "dad" to his five step-children, their spouses, and six step-grandchildren.
Kirk will expertly assist you in assessing and evaluating your project and will walk you through each step of the way, from initial meeting to final wrap-up.
Jens Beeder
Jens' artistic sensibility and conscientious attention to fine detail make him a great asset to any project. He has been working with Kirk for over three years. Clients particularly appreciate his fine paint, trim, and finish work.
Dustin Luke
Dustin is the newest addition to Kirk Remodel and Design. He brings vibrant energy and enthusiasm to the team, along with a strong work ethic.
Lacey Valenti
Lacey is a university trained designer, specializing in kitchens and baths. She holds a degree in residential design from the Art Institute of Seattle and began working as a full-time designer in 2004. She has helped literally hundreds of homeowners with their home remodeling designs.
